Description

Room 2: is located on the ground floor of the house. It has a double bed and a single one and if the client wishes another single bed can be added. It also has a fan, air conditioning plus natural ventilation, chest of drawers with mirrors, private en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water and a refrigerator.

Beautiful and authentic, this colonial style house was built in 1850. At guests’ disposal, spacious and airy common and private spaces. Two rooms are rented with private bathroom, tiled floors and excellent views. English is spoken at home and various additional services are offered to visitors.

Accommodation
Built in 1850, it is a beautiful house of authentic colonial style, retains its original features: thick walls, high wooden ceilings, drawn mosaic floors, large windows with bars and a large colonial courtyard. It is very spacious, comfortable and provides total security to the guest in a pleasant, familiar and quiet environment.
It is located in the historic center of the city, 50 meters from the Parochial Church of the Mayor (National Monument) and Plaza Central, a short distance from the main cultural and recreational centers of the city.
The guest can use common spaces in the residence such as the living room with its comfortable armchairs and the dining room where you use a CD player and TV as well as enjoy the gastronomic offerings of the house.
In addition, the house has a spacious colonial courtyard with garden plants and fruit trees making it the ideal place to drink refreshments, enjoy games with your children or having interesting reads in comfortable armchairs.
We rent two spacious and comfortable rooms with large windows that provide plenty of natural light and ventilation. If the client wishes it is possible to add another single bed in each room.

Neighbourhood & Nearby places
The house is located 50 meters from the main square, its position is very privileged. It is recommended to visit some interesting and unique museums of the city as well as:
• Disco, only four blocks away.
• Central Plaza, five blocks.
• Museo Provincial de la Musica "Alejandro García Caturla", an illustrious Remedian musician;
• Museum of History of the locality;
• Museum of "Las Parrandas", famous festivities declared in June 2013 Patrimonio de la Nación.

The city is an ideal starting point for organizing excursions to relevant natural and historical attractions in the central area of the country; At home, we offer our guidance in tours planning and organziation, taxi services as well as motorcycles and cars rentals to places such as:
• Rancho Querete, ecologically preserved natural landscape with large natural freshwater reserves;
• San José del Lago, a recreational center with health interest as it offers thermal-medicinal baths and other remedies of natural origin;
• Museum of the Sugar Industry in Caibarién that shows visitors the locomotives used in this industry in the past centuries XIX and XX;
• Che Mausoleum in Santa Clara where the remains of the outstanding guerrilla Ernesto "Che" Guevara and his fellow combatants;
• Museum "Tren Blindado" that recalls the victory of the rebel forces in the famous Battle of Santa Clara that ended the tyranny of Fulgencio Batista;
• Cayo Santa María;
• Caguanes National Park.
The city also has four night centers that offer shows with national and local comedians, traditional dances, Afro-Cuban and dance classes, which are taught by professionals of the genre.
