Description

Accommodation
Comfortable house in colonial style, built in 1921 on the ground floor, which stands out by cleanliness and careful attention to its guests. We have three rooms for rent that have private bathroom inside the room with shower as well as 24 hours’ hot and cold water, air conditioning, fan as well as windows and entrance doors overlooking a large central courtyard with tables for the relaxation.

Neighbourhood & Nearby places
Casa Marta is in a privileged area of Old Havana, just few blocks from where Havana was founded in 1519 and near the beautiful bay entrance. From the entrance you can observe a part of the former Presidential Palace, now a museum. Just few steps from our house will also find the Cuban Gallery of Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. The house in neoclassical style built in the early last century, it has spacious areas and still retains some of the original floors and decorations on the high ceilings.

Centrally located in the historic quarter of the city it is surrounded by places of touristic interest like La Bodeguita del Medio , where you can enjoy a good mojito, and then the restaurant El Patio with outdoor tables, the Cathedral of Havana and Calle Obispo with multiple stores, cheerful and busy, where you may listen to melodies of our Cuban music at the background. Calle Obispo takes you to the very popular bar restaurant "El Floridita" the cradle of Daiquiri, frequented in the past by Ernest Hemingway and today there is a statue in his memory.

Interaction with Guests
There is always someone who can open the door for you, but still you will receive the keys to your bedroom. All the family attends to our visitants.
